OUTL4W

Colony IV continue to support the next generation of talent, not just in action sports but also music. Colony IV have recently teamed up with Outl4w, one of the best new punk bands in the UK.

Bobby, Will and Jack Bentham with Stuart Newburn on drums, have been playing together for three years. Stuart has been playing drums since he was ten and the Bentham brothers have played guitars since primary school. Their dad holds one of the largest collections of punk and hardcore filmed shows in the world from which they found early inspiration from watching classic bands such as The Exploited, 999, The UK Subs and GBH. The brothers met Stuart through skateboarding in Blackpool and together they formed Outl4w in May 2004.

With their debut EP, Outl4w kicked their way into the British media, achieving massive acclaim from press and radio with live sessions for Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio One, The Hottest Record In The World on Zane Lowe’s show and new bands features across the press including early dedication from the NME and Kerrang!, and Sunday Times’ Hottest Download. They hand designed every cover of their 7” single which they released on their own record label Inl4w Wreckords and were chosen as Vinyl Of The Week in NME. This excitement around the band is based on more than just the fantastic story of three brothers and their mate having a punk band with an average age of 15. The reaction has all been about their tunes and their ferocious live show. Outl4w have played over 250 shows around the world, including Concrete Jungle, Rebellion and Wasted festivals.
